Frequently asked questions about Lupdo
Updated 27 October 2026
Start with a task you know, review its data and check the result in your own tool.
What does Lupdo do?
Lupdo is a Chrome extension that records the steps of a web task and repeats them later, unchanged or with new data. You demonstrate the routine instead of writing a script.
Does it work on mobile?
Tasks run in Chrome on a computer (Windows, macOS or Linux). You can visit the website from a phone and request a link to continue on your computer, but mobile Chrome cannot run the extension.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Record the task by doing it normally on the website, finish recording and save it. Start with a small routine whose result is easy to check.
Can I change the data?
Yes. Choose With changes to supply new values. With an AI plan, you can explain the changes or paste source text. Review what is prepared; anything you do not ask to change may retain its recorded value.
Can it handle several clients?
For a supported task that creates one record, a batch repeats the complete task separately for each client. Supply the rows with headings, check the case count and review the prepared data. Batch processing requires an AI plan or an eligible trial.
Does the AI invent a new route?
The AI prepares task data and helps interpret supported changes. It is not a general browsing agent that can carry out any request. If the target or request is unclear, Lupdo may ask for clarification or stop.
Can I review AI output before running?
Yes. AI review is on by default. Check the values and missing fields before continuing. If the task sends anything, also check its recipient and destination.
What if a field is missing from my source?
State whether missing data should be left blank, kept from the recording or supplied by you. Check the proposed fields before approving. A phone number in the original recording is not evidence that it belongs to the next client.
Does it work on every website?
No universal compatibility is guaranteed. Websites change, some controls are unsupported and ambiguous targets must not be guessed. Lupdo does not control desktop programs or bypass captchas, access checks or two-step verification.
Is everything free?
Recording and repeating have a free plan. An optional three-day AI trial provides 50 uses without a card or automatic charge. After the trial, AI requires an explicitly purchased paid plan. Check the current plans and terms before subscribing.
What data does AI receive?
Only use source material you are entitled to provide. A requested AI operation sends the relevant input and task field information through the configured provider; the privacy policy explains the data flow, retention and providers. Do not include unnecessary sensitive data.
Can I use old iMacros files?
No. Lupdo does not import or execute iMacros files. Rebuild a supported routine by recording it once in Chrome, then check its result before relying on it.
