Record a list of expenses without repeated copy and paste

Updated 27 October 2026

Month-end often means entering the same set of fields again and again: reference, supplier, date, description, amount and cost centre. If the expenses are already in a list, the repeated form is the part Lupdo can help with.

Start with written data

Use a spreadsheet or export containing the actual values. Lupdo does not turn PDFs, receipt photos or invoice attachments into expense data in this workflow. Keep the headings, dates and decimal formats clear.

Record the first expense

  1. Open the new-expense form in your web application.
  2. Choose Record a task and enter one example expense, including the save action.
  3. Finish and name the routine, for example Record an expense.

Prepare the batch

Choose With changes, paste the remaining rows with headings and ask for one entry per row. Review the proposed case count, dates, amounts and field mapping. Batches require an AI plan or an eligible trial.

Reconcile the saved entries

Lupdo repeats the saved task for each case. You can follow its progress and stop the run. Afterwards, compare the web application's saved records against the source references and totals. If the run stops, check which expenses were already saved before restarting; blindly rerunning the full list could duplicate them.

First test a few fictitious entries in the actual form. Automated fixture tests do not prove compatibility with every accounting application. A page change, unsupported control or ambiguous save result may require your intervention. You remain responsible for checking financial records.
